NO ONE is under the impression that a virtual keyboard is better than a real one. You wont find a decent reviewer out there who says otherwise. Virtual keyboards are becoming a lot more usable sure, but still have a ways to go & are still a very new concept.

I think RIM has the right idea with giving the user actual assurance that a key has been physically engaged. Unlike all-touch keyboards that just give you an audible *click* or vibration. That kinda ***** & is prone to SO many mistakes.

i bought an unlocked storm 2, used it on telus for 3 days, then i sold it and bought an iphone.

THE STORM 2 IS NOT BETTER AT TYPING THAN THE IPHONE. it’s not a bad phone, but 9.5 times out of ten, iphone trumps blackberry. MAYBE blackberries integrate into various corporate email servers, and thats the 0.5 that blackberries have over iphone.

thanks for the look….i’m wondering if verizon/att will require a data plan just the same for the storm2 (att did this with the iphone initially and verizon requires a data plan with blackberry).

Hey thanks for the review of the storm 2. I’m ready to get one soon. What do you anticipate will be the price difference between the storm 1 & 2?

Right now the storm 1 is $ 50, and I was going to go for it cause it’s cheap.
What do you think storm 2 will cost?
