absolutely!!! I totally recommend the FREE App called: Handcent SMS its a very cool app that totaly transformers the way u text and it is very customizable once the app is downloaded and installed on your device, open the app from desktop hit Menu select settings and u can change the color background you can even get a picture and place it on the background and your text are displaying in front of your picture, very cool and customizable!!!

Definitely, you will need to have a data plan on this phone if not it will be like having a corvette without a motor, just think about that, if you have a mytouch the data a plan is a must, dont get me wrong you have to add it you could still use it for your phone calls, but ity is recommended so you could have the full benefit of that phone. and to answer your answer yes u can added they will just added to your bill, i did that thas why i know.

The video recording on this really is like video on some lower-end phones, but who would really use this as their main video camera, you know?
This isn’t the killer-all phone (can’t have anything perfect) but it’s mad awesome
