An unboxing and tour of some of the major features of the HTC Hero based DROID ERIS for Verizon Wireless. The ERIS features a very snappy HTC Sense user interface and is equipped with a 5mp AF camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a sweet HVGA touchscreen.

    If you don’t have a data plan, yes. Otherwise, it’s of course optional- They’d never make a mobile phone that only uses wifi for internet if it’s attached to a network.

    The HTC Droid Eris tops the Motorola Droid. It’s $100 dollars cheaper and it performs just as well. Also, I do believe the Eris has a huge styling advantage.
